Tiffany Village and Kenny’s Pond have been receptive to the use of smart technological solutions while administering their services, which is further encouraged by the challenging landscape of the labor market. The use of ‘Amba’ is one such example of successful technology integration in the facility. Amba is a non-invasive device that senses movement in the suite by discrete sensors and sleep mats. It has been instrumental in service delivery, augmenting human care through technology. The device is especially helpful in fall prevention, elopement risk and fatigue due to poor sleep patterns and improves early intervention by the care team, thus reducing hospitalization.

For instance, during their wedding anniversary, the husband requested Tiffany Village’s help to make it a special day for his wife. Honoring his request, the care team, along with the director of care, decorated their suite. In the spirit of celebration, the manager of food and beverage, along with the team, set a dining table, arranged a bouquet, and prepared a meal to ensure they could have a beautiful night together. Such was the impact of the gesture that even after his passing, his wife reminisces about their last anniversary together, thanks to the facility’s kindness.
