With great support from her husband, Joe Gallego, Technical Advisor, and leveraging over 30 years of nursing experience along with a deep understanding of elder care, Rose envisioned a service that combines human compassion with cutting-edge technology to make senior placement more accessible, efficient, and personalized.

As a Registered Nurse with a career spanning psychiatric care, cardiac nursing, geriatric case management, and administrative roles, Rose’s expertise shaped Elite CareFinders’ unique approach. Her work as an adult foster family home inspector and marketing director for large adult residential care homes equipped her with invaluable insights into licensing, safety, and family dynamics.

“Every role I’ve had has contributed to the vision of Elite CareFinders. I’ve been in the trenches, I know the laws, and I understand the emotional complexities families face,” she explains.

This vision took root during a personal journey to find suitable care for a family member. Shocked by the lack of accessible information—despite Hawaii’s 1,700+ senior living communities and care homes—Rose recognized an opportunity to redefine the placement process.
