A Lifelong Commitment to Dementia Care
Ms. Rubel’s commitment to dementia care began long before she became a business owner.
Growing up in Belarus, she became the primary caregiver for her grandmother, who was living with dementia before the family understood the diagnosis. Determined to help, Ms. Rubel studied dementia care and applied what she learned at home. Her results led others to seek her advice, and by age 15 she was leading a dementia support group.

Her work focuses on reducing caregiver burden, improving safety and helping seniors remain at home longer.
She is also active in strengthening senior care systems as a Leadership Thurston County fellow, collaborating with healthcare providers, hospitals, aging services and community organizations.
Expanding the Future of Senior Care
Ms. Rubel is also exploring responsible applications of artificial intelligence in home health.
